Scientific marine researchers have discovered a new type of acorn worm which they named as the Yoda worm in honor of the Jedi master from the Star Wars movies. Researchers have recently detected the worm during the ECOMAR research program. Armed with a remotely operated submersible to search for new animals along the seafloor at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge between Iceland and the Azores, the scientific professionals was very much impressed at the sight of the purple-like creatures.
