This is the construction of a reference collection of tree species associated with the middle Cauca river basin, in southwestern Antioquia, Colombia, the study area of the archaeological project Pacífico 2, which may have been used as fuels in ritual and funeral or household burnings. It is not, among other things, a paleoenvironmental reconstruction, because the resources and protocols do not allow us such analyses, but the comparative identification of families, genera or species that occurs here, could be used for this purpose in subsequent works.
