This book is written to educate the readers on the key issues of electric vehicles (EVs). The book is organized in three chapters. Chapter 1 presents the concepts of wireless power transfer (WPT) and analysis of compensation networks in wireless charging. The second chapter presents the fuel cell based battery storage. The SEPIC converter and its modified topologies are analyzed in steady state mode. Further, the third chapter presents the analysis of multi input dc-dc converter, various renewable energies can be integrated together to charge the battery. Wireless charging technique using Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) technique are attractive for the electric vehicles (EVs), since, it is contactless. The IPTs systems of various power ranges from the few watts to the multiple kilowatts are widely used in various applications like transport applications like- electric bicycles, electric cars, and electric trains. In fuel cell electric vehicle driving systems (FCEVDs), the DC-DC converters are used to boost the FC voltage and also regulate the DC-link voltage.
