WHY THERE IS THE BASIC AGREEMENT BETWEEN SLOVAKIA AND THE HOLY SEE

"The book organically and gradually connects the domain of legal philosophy and theory of canon law so that all results in a more concrete discussion of the confessional Slovak law and the outcome in the form of concordat. It is not a mere description or explanation of laws and changes in Slovak confessional law as given by the Bishops Conference of Slovakia and issued as an official commentary of the Basic Treaty in 2001. In fact, whoever wants to understand the deeper meaning of the there commented provisions of the basic treaty or understand on what theoretical basis concordats are built, should be familiar with this book. It is written in a synthetic way. It sets more texts in sequence from abstract to more concrete themes. Surely it is the price of certain simplifications, but this is given by limited space. Assessed in this case is the conciseness and the ability of synthesize and express the very essence of discussed topics. This author not only succeeds, but the readability of his style could predetermine the work to publish for the wider professional and general public."
