Sean Williams has been through a lot in the past 5 months. He dealt with the anniversary of his parents' death, a PSYCHO stalker ex-girlfriend, and getting shot by a revenge-seeking corporate competitor who kidnapped the love of his life. Wanting to start fresh, he sold his multi-million-dollar software business, his penthouse, and asked his girlfriend Lydia to move into his new apartment with him....and she said NO.

Lydia Preston was experiencing the joys of being in love with her boyfriend Sean, until he popped the question. The "will you move in with me" question. With so many changes in her life, Lydia couldn't bring herself to say yes. Despite her tragic childhood, she finally formed a relationship with her estranged brother, Michael and her birth mother, Dr. Maria Sinclair. However, the biggest feat for her was getting a job at a local coffee-shop and enrolling in NYU to finally pursue her art degree.

Trying to find some normalcy in her life, she asks Sean to take the relationship slow. However, when her fathers' unexpected parole hearing comes around due to a terminal illness, she turns to Sean for support.
