Welding arc supply sources

The textbook was considered at the meeting of the Council of NamMQI No. 14, July 26, 2022 and recommended to the Coordinating Council of higher and secondary special, vocational education and methodological associations. The course "Power supply of technological machines and equipment" is constantly changing due to the constant development of technology, the widespread use of magnetic elements and semiconductor devices that easily meet the requirements of welding technology to the source. This textbook is intended for university students majoring in Technological Machinery and Equipment. Before writing the textbook, students should be familiar with arc welding technology, the theoretical foundations of arc welding, physicochemical processes in arc discharge, electrical engineering and electronics. On the other hand, for students majoring in 5520300 - "Technological machines and equipment", the author's magnetic field propagation is strong, given that the knowledge acquired in the subject "Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Electronics" is not enough to understand the physical phenomena occurring in supply sources.
