Vital findings in family Noctuidae (Noctuoidea: Lepidoptera)

Lot of taxonomic work has been done in the department of Zoology and Environmental Sciences, Punjabi University, Patiala. Several taxa have been published ,updated and revised by lot of workers since then. Family Noctuidae plays a vital role as it includes several species of moths which are very serious pests of crops, ornamental plants and forest trees. In this book, lot of vital findings of family Noctuidae based on external reproductive structures have been discussed in considerable detail. As many as 100 species belonging to various subfamilies and genera have been studied in detail from reproductive structures point of view. Beautiful illustrations of all the species have been made. All the studied features of this family can be used to improve the diagnosis of various taxa.
