Vision Based Information Retrieval (VBIR)

Accordingly this book also studied various real world application problems related to medical, robotics, agriculture and geo-navigation using the above proposed method. In medical application Vision Based Information Retrieval (VBIR) analysis has been made. In this application images are being utilized progressively inside the healthcare services for diagnosis, guiding treatment, planning treatment and checking illness progression. Next computer vision based system has also been used for automatic grading and sorting of agricultural products. Here vision based system has been applied by aiming to replace the manual based technique for grading and sorting of fruits. However vision based geo navigation information retrieval process has been studied to demonstrate the map based visual odometer strategy. Issues concerning drifts and robustness are analyzed and discussed here with respect to the original framework. Hopefully the contribution made by this book will make a new vista in the filled of advanced technology for the betterment of our global society.
