Valuation Techniques of Protected Area

This book has examined various benefits available from Protected Areas (PAs) and Gir in particular and then made attempt to select appropriate techniques. Methods based on revealed preference and stated preference techniques have relevance for the wildlife tourisms. Travel cost method has been utilized in number of studies but the recent studies have given more preference to stated preference techniques for the problems encountered in revealed preference techniques.
