Vaasthu, Feng-Shui, Traditional Beliefs Vs Civil Engineering

In spite of the fact that this is an era with colossal inventions of Building Construction, the shadows of customs and beliefs of Building Construction are still followed in various levels. These beliefs play a major role in residential and mini commercial building construction, mostly in countries like Sri Lanka, India and China.While some people reject these labeling as myths, some embrace them blindly. A detailed study was conducted to figure out how significant is this. The acceptance and rejection of those beliefs mainly depended on the educational and occupational background of those people. The Astrologers, Masons and Carpenters have accepted those beliefs as they inherit them from generation to generation and scaring of their occult grab, Civil Engineers and Architects have rejected them having the full faith on Engineering technology. When the traditional customs beliefs are taken in to account for real-world applications, the rational nature of those must be observed. Then they can be effectively used to optimize the quality of constructions without withdrawing them, labeling as superstitions.
