UTILIZATION AND EVALUATION OF WEB-BASED RESOURCES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Advances in learning environment have provided students with a wide variety of Teaching and learning alternatives that have expanded the educational process beyond the traditional classroom. Web-based resources are one form of web-based learning environment that uses programs to develop modules on the Internet and make it available to the students. It typically combines functions such as discussion boards, chat rooms, online assessment, tracking of students'' use of the web and course administration. The book describes the development, utilization and evaluation of web based learning resources in teaching of fundamentals of computers, description on the learner''s attributes and analysis of the effect after exposure to the web-based learning resources.
