Utility Model of Khartoum Center Using GIS

The idea of this book is very simple: to put in the hands of people interested in geographic information systems (GIS), geographic information science, and geospatial science and engineering a book that provides a broad preparation for work with to design and develop a multi-purpose utility model for Northern Khartoum area using techniques of Geographical Information System(GIS). Moreover, the book aims to investigate and identify the operational development systems employing integrated utility databases for facilities including water pipelines networks, sewerage network, electric networks, telephone and telecommunication networks and roads services. The second goal of this book how to explain the steps of to establish multi-purpose utility model aid management and development of future plans as well as providing a requisite accuracy in a multi-purpose utility model case by design and avoid errors which can result in great cost into infra structure works. In order to serve a broad array of readers, this book has four parts that, read sequentially, build on each other to offer a successively deeper understanding of GIS.
