Using Audio Visual Aids to Improve English Listening Comprehension

¿Nature gave us two ears but only one tongue, which is a gentle hint that we should listen more than we talk ¿ Traditional language teaching relied mostly on the teacher's talk and was limited to the use of chalk and blackboard, while current language teaching applies various tools such as audio visual aids. The author is highlighting that Teaching with technology could facilitate language learning better than traditional methods. The use of multimedia in general, and audio visual aids in particular, can increase learners¿ motivation and provide maximum linguistic and cultural input in the classroom. The research will deliberately focus on providing solutions to cater for both theoretical and practical implementations of the use of audio visual aids in teaching listening comprehension.
