'usage of Information and Communication Technology In Research'

Nowadays ICTs are more and more oriented towards individual use at home or at work. In the age of information, easy access to information is an essential prerequisite for the research activity and development of the discipline. It is necessary to give education to the students not only in their domain discipline but also in ICT literacy. Hence, training on how to use library and ICT for accessing information should be introduced in the syllabus of the medical field. All such efforts lead to quality research in health science and high quality patient care. We live in a very complex and often overwhelming information world. Library, education and research organization have a responsibility to do our best to help researchers succeed. Research scholars need lessons in the full range of skills, delivered in the contact of the overall ICT process, including relevant technologies and based on subject area assignments. By keeping this view in mind, researcher has developed a conceptual syllabus for training.
