Urban Road and Drainage in Bishoftu, Ethiopia

Urban infrastructure inventory is paramount to municipalities. This helps to identify what is going on in the boundary of the town, indicates what is lacking and what is in excess. Thus, it is a strong tool to set priorities for each urban infrastructure/utility and helps to update every activity taking place by different bodies within its boundary. In line with this, this study assessed the urban road and drainage infrastructure in Bishoftu town including the available resources and the related problems. It also presented various alternatives to manage their resources in a proper way. The study clearly identified the available urban road and drainage infrastructure and presented in the body of the study.
