UNESCO BYOD: Encouraging mobile learning in teaching and learning

This is the challenge for education in the 21st century, this is the age of connectivity and ubiquity. Here are the 4 (E): a) Teaching, the figure of the teacher remains opportune, starting from formal content, contained in planning, presenting, conceptualising and contextualising, demonstrating the historical process; b) Role-playing, the teacher becomes a mediator, in tune with the indication of formal content, with the addition of a presupposition (problem): film, song, text, report, metaphor or a one-off or global event, promotes a blended, and with the devices develop and carry out the proposed activities so that analysis and reflection occur, and search for intersections between the presentations offered by the teacher; c) Enchant, offer challenges, the student becomes the centre of attention, is demonstrated and led to understand that he or she is the protagonist in the production of knowledge, through technologies, cooperation and empathy; can question, suggest, innovate, recreate possibilities and perspectives of epistemology, entrepreneurship, citizenship and diversity; d) Undertake, is encouraged to create, improve, develop, enhance a technology, process and/or a product.
