There is growing understanding of the rights of women and the scaring of violence against women in Zimbabwe. Despite this, prevelance of Intimate Partner Violence incidents is still high. The author details the contributing factors why Zimbabwean women do not report cases when abused by their husbands. She further decodes the findings of the research through research thematic content analysis to validate the research data. Violence against women has become a global health problem, this publication therefore seeks to contribute to a better understanding as to why married women in Zimbabwe do not report abuse they face from their partners.
