This book is designed both veterinary surgeons or clinicians and practitioner veterinarians who need and desire accurate and clinically useful information in a timely manner. In addition, practicing veterinarians and veterinary students are continuously interested in information on umbilical lesions in calves. This book is intended to be a guide to quality umbilical lesions in calves; however, none of the procedures should be carried out without appropriate instruction under the direction of an experienced veterinary surgeon.
