Trust in Local Economic Development

Literature on Local Economic Development has been growing tremendous in the last few years. Various methods has been established and exercised in the creation of local competitive advantage. Local Competitive Advantage (LoCA) is another name for Participatory Appraisal of Competitive Advantage (PACA. It is meant as breakthrough to start Local Economic Development. This book analyses how LoCA, which was regarded as an external factor in stakeholder integration and trust building, facilitates the creation of trusts among local economic stakeholders, types of trust being established and the dynamics of Local Economic Development based on case study in Srilanka.
