Transcultural Body Dance Research

The principal idea of the project was to do an investigation based on my informative legacy about dance, created from my biographical data and historical context, with the intention of generating a specific formative content that will receive the name of the method for the transcultural body. The first part of the investigation will be presented a dance research process, looking for the definition of my body knowledge and acquiring ¿the transcultural body¿ result. Achieving like this, the principal points of the project based in Spanish dance technique and Contemporary dance, and how to deal with this body information. On another hand, this reflection towards the transcultural body would not have arisen if there had not existed a previous necessity for observation, in the academic and choreographic field between the history of Contemporary and Spanish dance. The shortage of resources that were found about methods where both Spanish and contemporary dance co-inhabit the same place, gave me the idea to deepen the investigation on this mix of techniques, trying to create a personal formative direction.
