TRAINING WITH A FOCUS ON COMPETENCIES

This written material develops the main theoretical and practical foundations of competency-based training. It addresses competency-based training models in Latin America where the main problems or lack of knowledge about the implementation of this type of educational model are identified, as well as a specific approach to the competency-based training model in Bolivia. Likewise, methodological processes of curriculum design are described considering a system from an approach in which teams are formed to implement processes of deconstruction and continuous reconstruction.
