The environment in which we do our job is constantly changing, so the knowledge and skills we will need to keep up with the developments will change too. Jobs continuously require new knowledge and skills to adept the new developments. To keep fit for the job continues training and professional development opportunities should provided for all employees of the organization to support the organization efforts and improve their capabilities in executing their tasks based on the mission and core values of the particular organization. This in turn requires monitoring and evaluating the achievement and progress of trainees and their training needs. As part of the training plan of the organization, it is recommended to use a Training Handbook and incorporate the methods and techniques into training activities. This book,therefore focuses on training need assessment, implementation, and evaluation and assessment techniques, should especially useful to policy makers, trainers, training developers, trainees, researchers or anyone else who may be interested to understand the duties and responsibilities of different actors in transferring training to the work place.
