TOXICITY AND SUBTLE EFFECTS OF PESTICIDES ON PIERCING-SUCKING PESTS

Since the early era the resistance of arthropods to crop management chemicals had been problematic of synthetic organic pesticides.The resistance phenomena has its effects on pest biology,behaviour and its structural tissues also.Insects could gain metabolic resistance by some modefications in its enzymes.So the study of pesticides'sciences is so important to understand of its mode of action inside the target agriculture pests. This book also contains: 1-Determination of lethal and sublethal concentrations of certain pesticides against two piercing-sucking pests,in order to get resistant strains of both pests to tested pesticides. 2-Demogrphic-toxicological studies of each resistant and control pests all over selected generations. 3-Histological studies by light microscope of each resistant and control pests mid-guts, integuments, ovaries and neuro-muscular junctions. 4-Analysis of esterases and oxidases in each resistant and control pests at specified generations.
