Topical Treatment of Melasma

Melasma is a common pigmentary disorder cause¿s tremendous emotional and psychosocial distress and it plays a major role in affecting the quality of life. This typical disease mostly affects women of reproductive age from all racial groups but has a predilection for darker skin types. The treatment of Melasma is a challenge to any dermatologist because of its refractory and recurrent nature.
