Thinking about terrorism today

More and more, the "wolf man", as described by Thomas Hobbes in Leviathan, is a sad reality. For it is no longer a simple truism to affirm that geographical spaces are prey to all kinds of violence. But how can we fail to understand this state of affairs if the other is not considered as a separate and distinct being who has his or her share and who has the same rights as oneself? If we have come to this point, it is precisely because man does not seem to be able to live with the ethics of hospitality and diversity. This causes real problems of adaptation around which philosophers, sociologists, historians, geographers and politicians meet and try, each according to his or her competence, to find a solution that would eradicate, or at least contribute to containing the shocks that this causes.
