THEORIES OF KNOWLEDGE AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Science serves us and is useful, because by using it we can try to understand the world, its observable or perceptible phenomena in a rational, logical and systematic way. In its philosophical context, science teaches us to investigate and verify the facts; to be reflective and critical and not to accept the subjective imposition of ideas by those beings who hold certain quotas of power or authority.Subjectivities can be accepted or rejected through scientific investigation and verification, it also teaches us that facts do not arise out of nothing or that they have a possible cause.In short, science, properly studied, can educate the man of the immediate future, within a pattern of attitudes of a democratic, participatory, reflective, critical and deterministic type.
