THEORETICAL APPROACH TO ECO-SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The environment is endangered by various threats that endanger not only ecosystems, but all human beings. Knowing the environmental problems is the first step to become aware of their importance and to claim and participate in actions for the protection and recovery of nature, within these problems it is important to mention: Climate change, pollution, deforestation, soil degradation, high energy consumption, species extinction and biodiversity loss, invasion and illegal trafficking of species, waste generation, overfishing and water scarcity. The consequences are worrying. Based on this evidence, this Doctoral Thesis: a theoretical approach to eco-sustainable development for water resource management with a systemic focus in San Fernando de Apure, aims to generate a theoretical approach to eco-sustainable development for water resource management with a systemic focus in San Fernando de Apure. This research will contribute to the scientific currents, the implementation of measures regarding the water system in an eco-sustainable environmental management.
