The World Health Organization

The World Health Organization, also known as WHO, is one of the specialized organizations under the United Nations (UN). The United Nations has other specialized subdivisions that you have heard many of (the Universal Postal Union, the International Maritime Organization, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, etc.).
