With vast experience in inflammation and immune response research, Salmon has contributed substantially to research, especially with regards to medicinal plants with anti-inflammatory activities. With a background in Haematology, Blood transfusion Science and Chemical Pathology, his research has focussed mainly on immune response and modulators of inflammation. By the end of 2015, Salmon is hoping to complete a Doctoral degree in Biomedical Technology, focussed on understanding the molecular basis of anti-inflammatory action of plant derived fractions and compounds.
