THE TECHNIQUE OF DATA COLLECTION IN QUALITATIVE RESEARCH

In the ways in which researchers collect, analyze and present information in different works, the techniques of collecting information in qualitative research and the settings in which it is to be collected become a very different practice from conventional research. In data collection, traditional or conventional forms consider libraries, face-to-face exchanges, written, visual and auditory documents in databases where the main sources of information are found, where human beings are the ones who determine their documentation. All research requires a search, reading, interpretation and appropriation of information related to the subject under study, giving privilege here to the humanistic and social themes, based on observation and participation, practiced in conventional environments, are actions carried out by the researcher of the social situation under study, seeking for it a direct analysis, whole and at the time in which the situation takes place, and where their participation varies according to the purpose and design of research planned.
