The synergy between visual arts and fashion

The present work tends to examine the relationship between art and fashion by emphasizing the rapprochement between the two worlds through the collaboration of Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama.The artistic work, today, becomes transposable to clothing and accessories. The latter are characterized by an "arty" touch that adds charm and luxury to the article.The faithful representation of an artistic work on a clothing line has become a new trend. Artists and designers are now teaming up to break away from the ordinary, the déjà vu and create new works of art. The Louis Vuitton brand has followed the approach, shapes and colors of the Japanese artist's work in its entirety. LV neglected all the original concepts and strengths of its style during this collaboration. The image of the brand was completely changed because of the global change that the LV items had undergone.
