THE STRUCTURING OF PUBLIC POLICIES ON FAMILY RECEPTION

The book analyses the structuring of public policies for family care, taking as an example the municipality of Santo Ângelo. It addresses the rights of children and adolescents, within the framework of the theory of integral protection, the right to family and community living together, the absolute priority for children and adolescents, and the species of substitute family placement. The structuring of public policies of institutional reception is also verified in its diverse possibilities, briefly glimpsing the figure of affective sponsorship, that to the types of reception can serve as appendix. Specifically, the legislation, municipal of Santo Ângelo and state of Rio Grande do Sul, the Single System of Social Assistance, the National Plan for Promotion, Protection and Defense of the Right of Children and Adolescents to Family and Community Coexistence and the reality of children and adolescents in the municipality of Santo Ângelo and thus, in Brazil, are verified, which make justify the need for reception services.
