The result of the offence is a concept that may be elusive in law, but it can be grasped by the law. The development of a theoretical construct to close the conceptual disharmony around this pastis is imperative. The doctrinal disparity between sociological, legal, intended, juridical, virtual and material results is at odds with the omnipresence of a result in every offence.
