How does the everyday technology that we use affect us and our relationships? Does it affect us at all? If it affects us, how does it affect us? I have attempted to answer this question in my academic research. This research relates our use of technologies such as cellular phones, computers, social networking, home entertainment systems and the like to the attachment we have to our maternal figures. Does this technology in some way relate to how we end up relating to our social world? The findings are somewhat unexpected....
