The Reality of Strategic Planning in First Care Centers in Gaza Strip

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the questionnaire to investigate the reality and the problems of the Strategic Planning method in the Governmental first care health care centers in Gaza Strip.This has been carried out through identifying four dimensions of strategic planning practice, which are: The employees sharing in the strategic planning, The availability of the human and financial capabilities for the strategic planning process, The obligation by the strategic planning elements, The conception of the significance of the strategic planning, The researcher distributed 323 questionnaires. The number of valid retrieved questionnaires was 288 with a recovery rate of 89.1%. Returned forms were analyzed using the program of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The study reached a set of results. Most importantly, the study found there are adequate human and financial capabilities for the planning process, the qualifications of the trained employees have improved obviously in the strategic planning process, The administration monitors the implementation of the strategic plan continuously.
