The Quality of Online Instruction in Ethiopia. Perspectives and Implication

Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Bewertungsmethoden, Noten, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Since no clear pedagogical strategy was adopted in online instruction and since there was no accurate screening for the practices of teachers and learners, this study reflects the quality of online instruction from students' perspectives. Therefore, this paper holistically describes online learning as it was experienced by Grade 9 and Third Secondary learners in Ethiopia. A quantitative study was conducted through an online survey and the data was collected from 928 respondents. The limitations of the study are the small sample size as well as the absence of teachers' views.
