The idea of writing this book came from the threefold observation that, firstly, some people wrongly claim that the various computerized project tools have come to replace traditional project knowledge.Secondly, individuals and organizations alike have ideas, but often find it difficult to formulate them clearly and put them into practice. Thirdly, some people remain confused as to what comes before Project and Planning, as in the story of the chicken and the egg. Yet a project is both a process and a realization.Justifying a project idea, defining precise and limited objectives, proposing activities adapted to the objectives and context, planning the time and budget needed to carry them out - these are all decisive steps in the initiation and implementation of a project, which deserve to be explained in a simple and accessible way.This book is sure to remedy some of the shortcomings observed in our society, as well as dispelling misunderstandings and grey areas in people's heads.
