The myth and the cinematographic creation

The myth is lived and to reiterate it in the cinema is to make it live for thousands, even millions of spectators, as if they were all present at the moment when the action took place. So, through the double historical fiction, how does Dani Kouyaté appropriate the traditional cultural heritage, as a theme and as a technique of narration? This desire to bring Negro-African stories to the world's attention is driven by a vision, that of making films to express the Negro identity in the civilization of the universal. Thus, at a time when globalization is gaining ground, this article highlights the particularities of African film creation.
