THE MEDIA

The term media refers to any means of distribution, dissemination or interpersonal, mass or group communication of works, documents, or written, visual, audio or audiovisual messages. The term media is now rarely used according to its Latin spelling, "Media" designates several supports and "Media" a single support. The writing of the term media is open to discussion. Should an "s" be added as a plural to a noun that is already plural? In this digital age, if you are not present on the various social media, you are invisible. Whatever your field of activity, marketing communication is now essentially done through all social media. As in any marketing strategy, you have to know your target to avoid making mistakes and in this case, you have to know the networks they use. This book proposes to give the generalities and the classification of the media, to have a view on journalism, politics and the Internet and finally to enumerate the advantages, the disadvantages and the stakes of the said media.
