The Loading and Hauling Simulation of Mine Operation

This book is a case study developed in a mining site, middle of Amazonia, Brazil. This book shows mine operation in a specific situation of Juruti mine in September 2015. It is essential to understand the strip mining method and how it have been done in Amazonia. The book focuses on the loading and hauling ore operation, simulating shovel and truck work to define the ideal number of trucks to use for each mining face. The comparative infield tests proves the simulation effectiveness. Before the simulation process, the literature review section provides the necessary information about the region where this work occurs. It is regarding a bauxite mine in the middle of a rain forest with its peculiarities, especially in terms of weather, geology and mining aspects.
