The landscape of the pragmatic New Silk Road

This book is an outcome of research carried out for 4 years at Department of politics and Public Administration, University of Pune, India association with Deportment of Political Science, Islamic Azad University, Ahvaz, Iran. The books begins with a preface and introduction followed by five chapters and a conclusion. The introduction gets into the subject of the book. It looks at the various stages in the research. It introduces the idea of geopolitical viability of international North-South Transport Corridor and traces the proposed plan of the book in detail along with the chapterisation. Chapter one is dedicated to theoretical framework. Chapter two deals with Geopolitics of INSTC. Chapter three deals with Transportation and infrastructure of INSTC. Chapter four looks at the strategic position of India in Central Asia. Chapter five look at the cooperation between founder¿s countries of INSTC. The book concludes that geographical economic and strategic advantage for India lies in regional stability and security.
