Zayd's people once lived in harmony with their oppressors, their deep bond with nature sustained the land for all. But when fear and greed spread among those without abilities, they rose against his people, seizing power and forcing them into silence. Without their gifts to nurture it, the earth began to wither, just as its caretakers did.
