The Integration of Language and Leadership Learning Strategies

This book establishes how English as a medium of instruction could be used as a vehicle for attitude change, exploring how integrated textual and audio-visual media could be used in learning English and leadership. The teachers¿ core beliefs and opinions on student leadership, the effects of leadership on the students¿ academics and relationships are investigated and explored yielding the rational on to which a model for the integration of language and leadership learning is built. The function of language in the society, language learning, multimedia and transformational servant leadership theories give the book an impetus and uniqueness, timeliness and a niche not only in the ESL Learning and acquisition world but also in leadership learning from an African Perspective.
