THE INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIC MODEL IN ECUADOR

The objective of this work is to study and briefly analyze the industrial economic development of Ecuador; the Agroexport and Developmentalist periods will be reviewed in general, while the period of Structural Adjustment (Neoliberalism) will be analyzed in particular. We will analyze the Gross Domestic Product, investment, industrialization and as a whole the Political Phenomenon in relation to the economy.In addition to the analysis of the most relevant economic facts, statistics and phenomena, in order to characterize each period under study we will try to give an institutionalist approach to the dominant paradigms and conceptions, which are much more explanatory concepts of the social, political and economic transformations that took place in the country during the last century.
