As a subsystem of physical education and sport, military physical education in higher education institutions is an important part of general physical education that is constituted in a specific human activity, which aims at achieving the objectives and educational and social integration functions of future specialists, in all fields of activity. It can be appreciated that between the level of civilisation on the one hand and the concerns for broadening the organized exercise framework on the other, there is direct interconditioning, increasing the degree of civilization by training inevitable and demand for physical exertion, body activities intended for fortification, compensation and recreation. Overcoming the dimensions of a leisure activity, physical education and sport, participates in the training and preparation of the individual for life. Physical education and sport must be a constant concerns for all the factors responsible for the training and training of the Romanian army, their health and their biomotric capacity. Physical education as institutionalized activity involves the selection from the multitude of exercises of the most appropriate and efficient means.
