The Impact of People's Growing Environmental Consciousness and Responsibility on Major Grocery Retailers in the UK

The nature of these changes as well as factors which accelerate this development are discussed. Furthermore, it is explained how the different grocery retailers respond to the environmental claims of their customers. The work concludes with an assessment of possible future developments.
