The impact of financial development on economic growth

The study of the determinants of the performance of Tunisian banks, with a study of the impact of a financial system inspired mainly by the banking sector on economic growth are the main subject of this book. The empirical validation is made from a sample composed of 10 Tunisian banks observed over the period from 1998 to 2017.Also, this work uses annual data from 1980 to 2017. We used four proxies of Financial Development (DF) with reference to the banking sector, namely Broad Money (M2), Domestic Credit to the Private Sector (DCPS) , Domestic credit by banking sector (DCBS), and bank deposits (BDL). Control variables, such as trade (TRADE), government expenditure (govexp), and gross domestic savings (GDS), have been added to the analysis.
