The globalized context of the 21st century characterized by the developments of transportation and technology, by conflicts, wars, the search of safety and investment opportunities, has a huge impact upon the relations between individuals, countries, ethnic groups, governments,institutions. The present spacial, social, economic and cultural dynamics influences communication and affects identities creating an image of the Other often distorted by prejudice and stereotype, a fact that can easily lead to discrimination, broken bilateral relations and conflicts at international level.
