The Government Decision-Making Process

The research study on the government decision-making process on the policy level towards Thai State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) offers some ideas that may provide a useful interpretation of the government decision-makingprocess on the policy level to the discipline of public administration. The researcher aims to propose a betterunderstanding towards government policy formulation and implementation towards Thai SOEs through two case studies, The Government¿s policy on TMN Privatization and National Shipping Line Establishment Policy by the Thai Maritime Navigation Company Limited (TMN) Joint Venture with 23 Ship-owner Companies and the Government¿s policy on the Suvarnabhumi Airport Construction by the Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT).
