The German Banking System

Research Paper (postgraduate) from the year 2011 in the subject Economics - Finance, grade: 1,0, , language: Russian, abstract: The main objectives of this study are to conduct a retrospective analysis of the historical development and assess the current state of the German national banking system, determine the development trends in the context of economic integration and globalization, taking into account the peculiarities of the current development of the European banking system and the conditions of the formation of the global financial system and the internationalization of banking operations.

The economy of Germany largely determines the development trends of the world economy and is the engine of growth and post-crisis recovery of both the national economies of the European Union and the global economic system. One of the most significant elements of both the German national economy and the global economic system is the financial and credit system, incl. banking system.
